On 2-3 November 2023, E4 will host the next meeting of EUPEX project.

It will represents an opportunity to meet the other Partners of EUPEX (European Pilot for Exascale) international Consortium and do some networking, as well as a moment to keep updated on the results achieved until now in the context of the project and on the main challenges to face in the upcoming months in order to reach the goals set out in the Grant Agreement.
The meeting will take place in a characteristic location, a traditional Acetaia in the heart of Emilian countryside.

The project aims at developing the first European HPC platform, collecting and integrating technologies for system architecture, processing, software, development tools and applications. It will also be a vehicle to prepare communities working in the HPC, AI and Big Data sectors for the upcoming European exascale systems and a federated HPC architecture.
In the context of EUPEX, E4 Computer Engineering’s role is to contribute to the design, building and validation of the GPU blade, the construction of the GPP/GPU cluster and the co-design of the second-generation EPI processor.
