E4 Computer Engineering participates in the PASC23 Conference

PASC23 (Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing) is the interdisciplinary conference on HPC that brings together the fields of science, applied mathematics and computer science aimed at scientific computing.
Co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS), this year’s event will take place from 26 to 28 June at the Congress Centre in Davos, Switzerland. Focusing on the project supported by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Board) and coordinated by Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and ETH Zurich / CSCS, the congress will feature three days of stimulating technical sessions and food for thought, including keynote presentations, mini-symposia, papers, panels and poster sessions.
The focus of this edition will be on advances in aggregation, synthesis and transition between scales, domains and communities. Multi-scale methods, operating on the basis of physics, data, or their hybridization, enable higher fidelity predictive capabilities, especially for complex phenomena with emergent behavior. The aggregation and synthesis of approaches from multiple domains, including modelling and simulation techniques and data-driven disciplines, are essential to improve the quality of our results and their computational feasibility.
An international networking event with key leaders in the fields of HPC, simulation and data science, from 25 Countries worldwide, to discuss research and development.
