E4 Computer Engineering with NVIDIA at HPCSIM 2023

The event HPCSIM Frontiers of High-Performance Computing in Modeling and Simulation, organised by the University of Padua and Mathematical Methods and models for engineering, in which E4 Computer Engineering will participate as co-sponsor together with NVIDIA, will be held in Padua, at Le Village by CA Triveneto, from 14 to 15 September.
The event provides the most up-to-date methodologies available for accelerating simulation software on parallel platforms, giving researchers and practitioners an insight into the potential of HPC in real-world applications. To meet the demand for larger simulations involving billions of unknowns, the development of new and technologically-aware algorithms capable of exploiting modern HPC systems is of paramount importance.
The demand for accurate and reliable numerical simulations of complex phenomena is increasing exponentially in a wide range of scientific and engineering applications. Problems such as modelling the formation of fractals in macroscopic elasto-plasticity, simulation of biological systems, and flow and transport in fractured formations are extremely challenging and require specific knowledge to be addressed.
Furthermore, machine and deep learning approaches (such as PINN, Deep Learning ROM, Auto-encoders, just to name a few examples) are starting to play an important role in advancing scientific discovery in several engineering domains, traditionally dominated by the numerical solution of PDEs.
