Why choose the E4 proposal
UNIQUE | VALIDATED
Validation at every level. Performance tests are carried out on all servers that will make up each solution before release to the client. In addition to the usual firmware, homogeneity, sanity and setup checks, we use additional specific tools to verify that the performance corresponds to the actual requirements of the client. Among the various tests used, of note are: HPL (High Performance Linpack) for measuring the computing power of the single machine in terms of FLOPs; STREAM to measure the memory access bandwidth expressed in MB / s; and IOzone to measure disk access speed, expressed in either MB/s and IOPS.
The individual components are tested through burn in tests developed by E4 for a period of up to 120 hours to guarantee a perfectly engineered and functioning system, thus reducing both the DoA (Dead on Arrival) and “early failure” rates after release. This significantly improves the overall reliability of our solution.
E4 is currently one of only a few companies that can deliver the highest level services to not only large academic and private institutions, but also to international research centers of local and global importance. These collaborations involve the design, configuration and commissioning of solutions with thousands of nodes for complex and high performance processing.
